Chapel Hill Tire - Durham - Homestead Market

Having to get maintenance done on a vehicle is never a “fun” experience but the crew at Chapel Hill Tire Homestead made it a perfect experience! I utilized their shuttle so I didn’t need to wait in the lobby (which was very accommodating had I needed to wait) I was able to get back home quickly and work on what I needed to while their crew took care of my car. They took the time to explain the differences in tires which I needed, and provided multiple estimates to ensure i would have something to meet my needs same day. They were quick, efficient, and above all kind. I highly recommend Chapel Hill Tire for anyone seeking vehicle repair!

We came in to have our car inspected for our new registration. This location was newly opened and is great! - very clean, conveniently located and expertly staffed. Brett took care of our car and, although we easily passed inspection, he told us our air filters should be changed and our tires aligned and gave us a quote should we decide to have Chapel Hill Tire do the work. I appreciated that he didn’t pressure us at all, had photos to show me, a fair quote and explained I’d just need approx one hour but wouldn’t need an appt. We had that work done today. Thank you, Brett, and thank your team for being great at your jobs, for being efficient and timely and for being so nice. We highly recommend this location.

This location is super convenient for me, and I like that everyone is so friendly. They have a reputable brand and you can trust their work is quality. The only negative I would say is the upselling can feel a bit overwhelming but it’s the nature of the auto service industry. They have never pushed or been rude when I said “no thank you” to their suggested services. I like the team here and I will continue to utilize them.

Clean facility, courteous staff, reasonable wait time. I have been there several times and every time the staff inappropriately up sells. Example, cabin filter recommended to be exchanged without physically examining. I’ve experienced other more egregious circumstances that does not make me feel comfortable having future routine service work moving forward. I only returned to this location in order to have tire rotation service on previously purchased tires.

Overall, Chapel Hill Tire is a bit expensive, but you are certainly not being ripped off by any means. This is one of the most professional and well run establishments I have ever supported. Their website is well-done, their front desk staff is incredibly helpful and reassuring, and the mechanics are friendly, knowledgeable, and provide photo and video evidence of their diagnosis. You pay a premium price and receive a premium service. Also, I would like to share that Chapel Hill Tire not only provides warranties on their work, but respects the warranty and values their customers. I recently spent about $3600 on numerous repairs to my vehicle and had to bring it back in shortly after due to a tire leak caused by my sensor. This was unrelated to their work and not under warranty, and a fix that would have costed me over $100, but they completed this completely free of charge.
